JEFFREY LIN ANDERSON
BREAD AND SUBSTANCE
May 30 - June 17, 2010
June 1st, 2010 (Laguna Beach, CA)
210 AR4T Space is proud to join the ranks of Laguna Beach art establishments. On the heels of the successful I AM SNOWBOARDING art tour, the JLA Memorial Fund through The Mammoth Lakes Foundation has partnered with new art advocacy program AR4T - Artists Republic for Tomorrow - in a gallery at 210 N. Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach CA.
The 210 AR4T Space is a non-profit venture with the goal of giving maximum support to artists and community related art endeavours. Showings will be switched out monthly, featuring pubic receptions, first Thursday art walks, independent film nights, and other activities to engage new viewers and minds.
In it's opening exhibit, 210 AR4T Space honors it's mentor and muse, Jeffrey Lin Anderson. Jeff was taken from the world in 2003 at the age of 23, but his strength and influence remains stronger than ever. Jeff was a talented board rider, wonderful friend and emotional multi-media artist.
The show titled "Bread and Substance" after the art Jeff made for a portfolio cover in 1996, is a collection of his original paintings from 1995-2001 on loan from various private collections. Please come celebrate Jeff's life and his love for art this Thursday, June 3rd from 6 to 10pm during the Laguna Beach 1st Thursday Art Walk.
